Water cooled air conditioning systems operate in a similar way to conventional split-type air conditioning systems that have an external 'unit'. However, rather than using the outside air to cool the heated gas refrigerant, our system is designed to use water instead.
This means that the system is fully internal as it does not need an outdoor condenser, just a water supply and waste drain to connect to the indoor condenser.
Our water cooled air conditioner unit is purposefully designed to be concealed out of view for aesthetic reasons and space efficiency. Our smallest condenser measures just 500mm x 500mm x 295mm, allowing it to be conveniently stored in cupboards or under a sink. This makes it ideal for properties where space is at a premium.
Our water air conditioning systems utilise your existing pipework, all of which is contained within your property. This means nothing needs to be installed externally and we don’t need access to the outside of your property to fit your system.
All our indoor units are WiFi enabled allowing you to control your air conditioning from your phone. This enables you to set the temperature remotely so you'll never have to worry about leaving your air conditioning on or having to arrive home to a hot and stuffy apartment.
Just like with a conventional split system, our water cooled condenser units can be connected to a range of different indoor units. This includes multiple customisable wall unit options, as well as floor mounted and ducted units hidden behind a grill, as long as you have sufficient void space above your ceiling.
Our internal wall-mounted room units are the quietest on the market, with our Urban Designer model operating at just 19dBa. While our condensers operate at a similar volume to a quiet washing machine (they can also be installed with an acoustic jacket to hide their noise further).
Our internal water cooled air conditioning systems are rated AAA for electrical energy efficiency.
Our water cooled air conditioning solutions are able to be installed in a variety of residential and small commercial properties:
Ideal for properties with restrictions such as apartments where an outdoor condenser unit is not possible.
If you live in a Grade II listed building, an internal unit can be installed with no planning permission required.
Water cooled air conditioning is also an effective solution for office spaces, retail spaces and server rooms with restrictions.
Our fully internal water cooled systems have no external elements and therefore remove the need for planning permission. They are the only integrated solution for properties where external modifications are not permitted.
Our condensers and wall units blend seamlessly into your property's design, ensuring your property’s aesthetics remain untouched.
One of our water cooled condensers has the capacity to cool up to 5 rooms at once!
With the convenience of controlling your air conditioning from your phone, never worry about returning to an uncomfortably hot home.
Investing in our systems improves your property's rentability and value, potentially leading to a positive return on investment.
There is minimal disruption during installation by our F-gas registered engineers.
Our quiet air conditioning systems not only cool you effectively, but also enable you to focus, relax, and sleep undisturbed.
With an AAA rating for electrical energy efficiency, you can stay cool without worrying about skyrocketing electricity bills.
All of our systems come with a full 12-month parts and labour warranty. This can be extended to up to 5 years, with the first three years covering both parts and labour, and the final two years covering parts only. Please note to maintain the extended warranty, annual servicing by our maintenance team is required.
Our systems don’t compromise on performance, as they offer equivalent cooling efficiency to conventional air conditioning units.
We provide Wi-Fi-enabled water cooled air conditioning solutions that you can control using a tablet or mobile device. Whether you’re at home or out and about, as long as you’re connected to the internet, you can control your water cooled air conditioning system.

Learn more about our Water Cooled system from our founders, Tony and Mark
Our wide range of internal water air conditioning systems provide a cooling capacity of up to 15kw and a cooling power input of up to 5kw. This makes our internal systems as powerful and efficient as any conventional air conditioning unit.
Our internal water cooled air conditioner can supply up to 8 rooms with cool air at the specified desired temperature, easily controlled with our smartphone app or remote.
Our water cooled system does provide heating; however, we advise only using this as a backup and not a primary source of heating for your home.
The fully-internal water-cooled air conditioning system doesn’t require planning permission. This is ideal for apartment owners as there is no external unit and no external modification to the property is required.
If the air conditioning system is to be installed into a listed building or a property within a conservation area, you may be unsure whether installation is permitted. If this is the case, we suggest you seek advice from your local planning office
We regularly get asked about the water consumption of our units. The exact amount is actually very hard to determine as usage depends on the following variable factors.
Setpoint temperature: One of these factors is the setpoint temperature of the room that is being air conditioned. This is because more water will be required to bring the room down to say, 18deg C than it would if it was set to our recommendation of 22 - 23degC.
Outdoor air temperature: The outdoor air temperature is also going to play an important role in the amount of water consumption. The hotter it is outside the more heat is being transferred from the outdoor air to the cooler room being air conditioned.
Building Materials: Another factor is how your property has been constructed and the type of materials that have been used. A building with a lot of glass and thermal insulation will absorb external heat and retain it in the building for longer.
Input water temperature: As we are using cold water to cool the hot refrigerant, the colder the water that comes into the system, the less that will be required to remove the latent heat from the refrigerant.
Usage: Probably the most obvious is the number of hours the unit is operating for someone who leaves the air conditioning system on all day will require a lot more water than someone that switches the system on for a few hours to cool a bedroom before going to bed.
To give you an idea - an average sized bedroom of, 5m x 4m, with a normal amount of glass windows, well insulated to modern building regs, an outdoor temperature of 27degrees C and an incoming water supply of 12degC - would require a 2kw indoor unit, as well as the condenser unit. This condenser would give out a water flow of 40 litres per hour to cool the room to 22 degrees.
Our condenser units only use water when the condenser is running to provide cooling. When the room has reached the setpoint temperature of 22 - 23 degC the condenser will switch off. To maintain the setpoint temperature of the room or systems normally only take 20 – 30 minutes per hour of operation, so water consumption will drop when the setpoint temperature is simply being maintained.
As the wastewater has been heated up to around 45-50degC - it makes sense to try and re-use the heated water. We are able to connect up to a large hot water storage cylinder to the unit, so the heated water can be used for a shower or bath. However, this is not possible in a lot of cases as hot water cylinders do take up a lot of room and they will also add to the cost of installation.
If your building has a communal heating system and or a chilled water circuit then it is possible for our water-cooled condenser unit to connect to these without any waste water at all. This would depend on what water flow temperatures are running through these systems.
The installation process for this system is straightforward and takes on average one day per indoor unit.
Firstly, we install the condenser and connect it to your water mains, drainage and electrical supply. Its compact design makes it easy to conceal in a utility room or cupboard.
Next the indoor units (which can be wall mounted, floor mounted or ducted) are installed in each room which requires cooling. The optimal locations are established at survey stage, ensuring the property is cooled in the most efficient way.
